The course provides an introduction into the basic principles of regression analysis, including its assumptions, interpretation, and implementation in the statistical software R. Course goals are to develop facility in the construction of multiple regression models and their application to the analysis of experimental data. Some of core topis are: (i) Understanding the principles of regression analysis and the relationship between dependent and independent variables. (ii) Building and interpreting simple and multiple linear regression models, including formulation, estimation, and validation.
