I will introduce the basic concepts and the standard architectures of deep
neural networks. I will further discuss current deep learning applications
in physics, ranging from simple regression and classification tasks towards
more advanced concepts of physics informed learning. If time allows, I
will discuss auto-encoders and generative models at the end of the corse.
For exercises, I will rely on popular python packages such as Keras and
PyTorch.
